NVAC seems to be working, the log is showing several handled errors. I'm using NVAC, without it the game crashes before arriving at the main menu. NVSE is being loaded, it doesn't matter if I'm using NVSE stable or beta. It only happens if I start the either the normal or the 4GB exe through Mod Organizer. This issue does not happen if I start the 4GB exe on its own. This issue does not happen if I start the game on its own with the normal exe. I can only navigate the main menu by memory, the ingame popups regarding the DLC is missing the text as well. The problem is that all of the text has disappeared or is invisible. The game starts, I can load a save and 'play'. Right now I can launch the 4GB exe through Mod Organizer. I'm trying to get Mod Organizer and the 4GB exe to work together, but despite following all of the advice, tips and workarounds it's still not happening. This means you should also ensure your executables list in MO is pointing to just the game, nothing else. DO NOT try and run the NVSE loader or the previously used patch.įNV4GB.exe, and any files in the 'exes' folder should be removed from your system as they are no longer needed. If you ran the patcher then the executable that you call needs to be the newly patched exe. I went ahead and downloaded the original 4GB file listed. Now the game stops working when I try to launch. The Nexus link takes you to the deprecated mod so I downloaded the new patcher and ran it. I was following Fear and Loathing guide and everything was working until I got to the 4GB patch step. I've been using that patcher since Roy first released it and there are no inherent issues with the process, in fact it is noticeably faster on execution and less fiddling in MO to get it set up.Īssuming you are doing things correctly, try a redo of your MO setup. Are you sure you are running the patched game executable and not the launcher or NVSE?
